No meeting due to Commissioner's Dinner.

October 17, 2001

Margot Zallen reported on the two meetings of OSAC where they considered policy changes and a potential ballot resolution to avoid the threats to open space that surfaced during the hearings on the Juvenile Treatment Facility.

Details for the dinner with the commissioners were discussed.

The newsletter is scheduled for mailing the week of October 22.

No immediate hearings on the TV and radio towers is scheduled.  Elliott Brown will serve as spokesperson for PLAN Jeffco.

September 19, 2000

Margot Zallen was complimented for the presentation to OSAC made September 6 (see article in newsletter).  OSAC members expressed similar concerns and a Study Session was set for October 4.

The Commissioner's dinner is scheduled for November 8th at Mt. Vernon.  Margot Zallen will try to get a speaker from DRCOG to discuss Growth Issues.

Newsletter is scheduled to go out the second week of October.

CARE and The Genesee Foundation presented information on the TV and radio towers proposed for Mt Morrison.  The Board agreed to oppose the towers.
